To say that we have missed you would be an understatement. We hope that you, your loved ones and neighbors are healthy and staying active during these difficult times. I am excited to announce that The Chanler at Cliff Walk will reopen our outdoor restaurant on June 9th and the hotel for overnight guests on June 12th.

Although we have been closed since March 17th, our management team has worked tirelessly during the closure to prepare for the moment we could welcome you back to The Chanler. Your safety and happiness is now more than ever our top priority. Through the guidance of local, state and national hospitality partners, the property has gone through meticulous updating with your safety and experience in mind. Access to property and lawns will be for overnight guests and restaurant guests only. New signage has been created for directional purposes and traffic flow throughout the property to control social distancing. For overnight guests, we will have the option of a contactless arrival and departure based on your comfort level. Decorative bedding has been removed from each guestroom. We have created a guest room amenity menu for you to select from rather than automatically placed in the room to provide sanitation assurance. We have installed plexiglass around the front desk and in front of the open air kitchen in Cara. For indoor and outdoor dining, we will follow the state guidelines of 8 feet between tables, menus will be disposable or sanitized in between each use. Public areas including restrooms along with lawn furniture will be cleaned on an hourly basis. The creation of squares on the lawn (as we did for Memorial Day Weekend picnicking) will be in place for social distancing purposes.

Our staff will be coming back a week prior to reopening in order to complete an extensive best practice training program based on these changes and government guidelines. Each member of our team will become COVID-19 certified prior to returning to work on June 12th. The focus and goal is to ensure every employee is trained on the necessary steps of service, sanitation and social distancing communication in order to protect you and others at the property.

Our four remarkable acres and private indoor setting allows you the freedom to relax, explore and enjoy. Our restaurants provide an abundance of outdoor seating along with intimate indoor dining, all with breathtaking views. In many ways, you’ll have the opportunity to experience The Chanler like never before with personalized services while enjoying a property that will be less busy this summer and fall.

Although we'll have masks on when you arrive, I assure you our smiles will be bigger than ever upon your return to stay and dine with us.
