All room rates, unless otherwise noted, are subject to 13% tax, include a 7% state sales tax and 6% city occupancy tax. Tax rates are subject to change should any government agency adjust these rates.
Check in time is 3:00 p.m. Check out time is 11:00 a.m. Early arrivals and late departures are subject to availability on the day of arrival or departure and may impose a fee. Please contact the Front Desk for early arrival and late departure requests.
In order to guarantee a reservation at The Chanler at Cliff Walk, a deposit in the amount equal to 50% room and tax for the reservations total value will be taken for all reservations of two or more total nights. For one night reservations, a deposit equal to 100% room and tax will be taken. Deposits may or may not be refundable if canceled, according to our cancellation policy. When you check in to the hotel, we will authorize an appropriate amount to your provided credit card to cover the cost of the remainder of the room charge and any expected incidental costs.
Due to our intimate size, cancellations impact us greatly. Our cancellation policy is 30 days prior to arrival for all reservations. Should the reservation be canceled prior to 30 days before the date of arrival, the deposit of 50% or 100% room and tax will be refunded less a $25 administrative fee. Should cancellation occur within 30 days prior to arrival, a cancellation fee of 50% room and tax (100% for one night stays) will be assessed and the deposit becomes non-refundable.
Should your reserved room become unavailable for reasons beyond the hotel's control (i.e. unforeseen maintenance or computer malfunction), The Chanler reserves the right to alter room assignments into guest rooms within the same category or higher for no additional fee. You will be notified immediately in the unlikely event this occurs, and we appreciate your understanding due to the intimate size of our hotel.
