The Veranda is a more casual dining room than the Spiced Pear and is located on what was once the outdoor patio of the original mansion, features breathtaking ocean views in a now enclosed dining room with floor-to-ceiling picture windows.

Lunch is served daily from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm.

CLIFF WALK TERRACE
Open in the Summer Months

Cliff Walk Terrace is The Chanler's outdoor patio restaurant overlooking Cliff Walk and the Atlantic Ocean. Sharing the same kitchen as the Spiced Pear, Cliff Walk Terrace brings an all new perspective to Newport’s waterfront dining scene every summer season. As the only restaurant with an entrance directly off of Cliff Walk, the restaurant is equally popular with travelers along the Cliff Walk and guests of The Chanler. Capitalizing on the award-winning culinary expertise of the Spiced Pear team, Cliff Walk Terrace serves lunch daily until the evening hours.  The restaurant also features a special kids menu.

As the Cliff Walk Terrace's experience is dependent upon the weather, reservations are not accepted. The atmosphere is more casual than the Spiced Pear's indoor dining rooms; casual wear is acceptable and is perfect for families.

Cliff Walk Terrace is open from 12:00 pm until 5:00 pm in the summer.
