Cara is led by Executive Chef Jacob Jasinski, whose culinary journey began in New England and evolved through Michelin-starred kitchens in France and Italy. Before joining The Chanler, he earned Forbes Five-Star recognition at Ocean House and was named Florida’s Top Chef. To preserve the intimate ambiance of our restaurant, we kindly ask for a prepayment, including a 20% service charge, for the tasting menu. This prepayment is fully refundable if the reservation is canceled at least 72 hours before the scheduled time. The Cara dining experience is not recommended for children under 12. In the summer season, Cara welcomes both hotel guests and non-hotel guests for dinner. However, availability is limited, and reservations are strongly recommended. During the late fall and winter season, Cara is exclusively for guests of the hotel.
Cara offers a blind tasting menu, meaning there is no traditional menu to select from. Each evening, the chef curates a multi-course dining experience based on the finest ingredients available that day. Guests trust the chef to create a personalized journey that includes both meat and seafood, and occasionally features raw preparations.
