Our Commitment to Safety

The state of Rhode Island has issued new Covid-19 mitigation measures taking effect on December 20, 2021 and we would like to share with you The Chanler's new policy, as the health and well being of our guests and staff remain our top priority. 

New COVID-19 Practices, Protocols, Enhancements

Indoor: Guests and staff regardless of vaccination status are required to wear a mask while indoors at The Chanler. 

Outdoors: Masks are not required, unless within 6 feet of another person. 

Guest Rooms and Dining 

  • Guest room thoroughly sanitized prior to your arrival
  • Decorative bedding has been removed from each guest room
  • In room dining is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner
  • Removal of mask is permitted while consuming food and beverage. 

Current Rhode Island Travel Restrictions for Out-of-State Guests

We ask all out-of-state guests to check in frequently with RI.Gov and to review state guidelines for the latest travel requirements for entering Rhode Island due to COVID-19. Our Chanler team will be happy to assist in advance should you have any other questions relative to your travel and stay with us while in Rhode Island.
