Polo has a storied history in Newport. Newport Polo is home to the Westchester Polo Club, America's first Polo club, established in 1876. The Opening Day match on June 2nd features USA vs Poland. Notable polo matches throughout the season include USA vs. Scotland on June 16th, Newport vs. Boston on June 23rd, USA vs. Italy on July 7th, USA vs. Ireland on July 21st and Newport vs. New York on August 25th. All Chanler guests with Saturday night reservations during Polo season will receive complimentary tickets to attend a Polo match.
